I have been painting in the Lake District now for 16 years after studying at Falmouth Art School in the early 90’s.
The landscape around my home has a large influence on me and my work and I get most of my enjoyment from exploring and painting it. I like to keep experimenting with new ideas, keeping the paintings fresh and energized. My paintings are more than just a copy of what is there, they are more to do with my experience of the place, the process of painting, and eventually a connection with the viewer.
